Tomorrow
China contemporary artist Li Jian’s “Prayer” inspired me to write the poem below. The painting depicts an angelic girl praying, she has a firm look on her face as she prays. Even when the background shows a cracking and dried land and a bleak future seems unavoidable, she believes so firmly that tomorrow will be a whole new day. There is always hope and we should never, never give up. We never know what there waiting for us. After all, tomorrow is another day!

是 一份
包装好的礼物
谁也看不透
在那绚丽缤纷之中
究竟藏着什么
我只能
不断不断猜测
也只能
不断不断祈祷
希望 它
露水般清新
星空般灿烂
茉莉般芳香
我的明日
是 一份
等待我拆封的礼物
