Painful love

Did any of you guys watch or read Great Expectations? In one scene, Finn said “Can you feel it? It is my heart and it is broken.” I was so touched> < gosh. This is an epic romance. Oh and I highly recommend wuthering heights, their love is consuming> <

another quote that I loved from GE is:  I did it! I did it! I am a wild success! I sold ‘em all, all my paintings. You don’t have to be embarrassed by me anymore, I’m rich! Isn’t that what you wanted, aren’t we happy now. Don’t you understand, that everything I do, I do it for you. Anything, that might be special in me, is you.

Oh and my FAVOURITE quote from WH: “‘And I pray one prayer–I repeat it till my tongue stiffens–Catherine Earnshaw, may you not rest as long as I am living; you said I killed you–haunt me, then! The murdered do haunt their murderers, I believe. I know that ghosts have wandered on earth. Be with me always–take any form–drive me mad! only do not leave me in this abyss, where I cannot find you! Oh, God! it is unutterable! I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!’”  I almost cried reading this line> <

Okay, so coming back to Painful Love. The inspirations are clearly from the artworks I have found and the classics I mentioned above. (And partly because ky is doing first love, which all so sweet and lovy dovy, so I want to make a contrast) Love can be truly beautiful, as well as painful. I want to do an oil painting of the broken hearted. Perhaps a portrait of someone smiling but tears of blood is flowing down from her porcelain skin. I don’t want something fancy, just sth simple and to the point, just like the pain inflicted by love.
